Recognition and Accreditations
Since its founding in 2010, St George School Madrid has established itself among Spain’s leading British schools, earning recognition from Forbes (Top 100 Best Schools in Spain, 2023) and MiCole (best school, 2025). The school holds NABSS accreditation, confirming its adherence to rigorous British educational standards. Its academic programs follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) at primary level, while IB World School status—granted in 2019—enables students to pursue the International Baccalaureate diploma. As an authorized Cambridge center, the school also prepares students for IGCSE examinations.
Academic Performance at St George School Madrid
Examination results consistently demonstrate the quality of education students receive here. During the 2023–2024 academic year, 43% of IGCSE grades fell within the 9–7 range (the highest level), while 91% achieved grades between 7 and 4—significantly above national averages. IB Diploma outcomes are equally strong: 96% of students complete the program successfully, with an average score of 32 points and a mean grade of 5.11 out of seven. Notably, St George School Madrid remains the only non-selective school in Madrid where every senior student follows the IB Diploma program, proving that rigorous international education can be accessible without entrance criteria.
Global Educational Network
In 2024, St George School Madrid joined the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a global network encompassing 112 schools across 25 countries and educating over 110,000 students. This partnership opens doors to international projects, cross-cultural exchanges, and global skills development programs. The school itself already functions as a multicultural community, bringing together children from more than 40 nationalities—an environment where intercultural dialogue becomes second nature and students naturally prepare for lives shaped by global connections.
