School Clubs

Stephen Perse Schools runs a diverse program of after-school activities that includes practical engraving, visual arts, cabaret, drama (backstage and technical), senior class productions, film studies, journalism for the student magazine Teal, psychopathology, contemporary psychology, and science. Students also enjoy explorers’ society, economics society, debates, Model UN, coding, design and technology. These clubs create spaces where intellectual curiosity meets creative expression, allowing everyone to pursue what genuinely interests them.

Language Clubs

Stephen Perse Schools offers language clubs for beginners who want to explore new linguistic worlds. Students can learn Chinese, Arabic, or Italian through programs designed to build practical communication skills while immersing themselves in different cultures and ways of thinking.

Music and Sport

Music enthusiasts can join the Music Performance club or rock school, where they gain stage experience and develop their performing abilities. Athletes, meanwhile, train at the rooftop gym and the 2-hectare field on Latham Road, with sessions covering hockey, football, basketball, table tennis, yoga, plus athletics, badminton, cricket, cross country, netball, rugby, and touch rugby.

International Trips

Stephen Perse Schools organizes regular local and international trips that range from Cambridge and London excursions to engineering education projects with ARM, residential workshops, theatre trips throughout the year, biennial European music tours, and sports tours for international competitions. These experiences broaden perspectives and create memories that last well beyond the academic year.

Community Engagement

Students engage with their community through projects like craft workshops at local care homes, sports days for younger students, and mural creation for various venues. Stephen Perse Schools is also a licensed center for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, which means students can work toward achieving the Gold Award through volunteering, expeditions, and skills development.

Personal Development at Stephen Perse Schools

Senior students benefit from a dedicated development program that brings together weekly club meetings and independent projects they design themselves. Physical activities complement mental wellbeing initiatives, creating an environment where everyone can discover their strengths through varied experiences and meaningful engagement.
