While an electronic system tracks campus exits so administrators know everyone’s whereabouts, it doesn’t restrict movement. For assignments, they choose between the quiet library, comfortable sofas, or lively coffee-shop-style spaces, with tutors helping each student find whichever format suits them best.

Tutor System

Regular meetings with tutors help track progress and catch difficulties early, since Stephen Perse Schools understands that mental health suffers without balance between study and rest. Tutors therefore monitor not just academic results but also their students’ physical and emotional wellbeing. Leadership Roles at Stephen Perse Schools

The Student President Team comprises four committees run by seniors who are chosen annually through debates and interviews with leadership. Presidents raise funds for charitable organizations, mentor younger pupils from other schools in the foundation, and organize events. Elsewhere, the CamMUN secretariat handles everything from logistics and promotion to developing political questions, while other seniors lead clubs for younger students, run sports days at local primary schools, or teach English at North Cambridge Academy through partnership.

School Catering

At Stephen Perse Schools, menus are designed around growing bodies’ needs: hot meals come with vegetarian options and soup, plus pasta bars and baked potato stations. Meat Free Mondays promotes balanced, sustainable eating. The senior canteen resembles a modern café rather than traditional dining hall, with a terrace overlooking campus that opens in summer.
