Summer Olympic Camp

The British School of Almeria runs a summer school for children aged three to fifteen, where English learning happens naturally through movement—games, creative activities, and sports. Operating throughout July, the program divides participants into five age groups with vibrant Olympic-themed names. All sessions are led by experienced native speakers, which creates an authentic English-speaking environment, while the updated campus features a pool, climbing wall, and covered play area.

Themes and Age Groups

The British School of Almeria dedicates its summer sessions to the Olympic Games, turning each day into a small competition that builds team spirit. Younger participants join team RIO (ages 3-5), while older children move into LONDON, PARIS, or TOKYO, and teenagers up to fifteen belong to BARCELONA. This division lets the program adapt to developmental stages—toddlers explore through play and simple songs, whereas older students engage in structured projects and research that challenge them differently.

Activities include:

  • Swimming in the pool
  • Sports games and relays
  • Creative workshops
  • Culinary club
  • Project work in English

Meals and Safety

Safety at The British School of Almeria comes first, especially during pool activities where at least two adults supervise each group—three for the youngest. Children are never pressured to enter the water if they’re not ready, and those who can’t swim wear armbands. Aramark prepares balanced meals on campus that accommodate dietary needs—lactose-free, gluten-free, no pork, or vegetarian options—while the qualified teaching team fosters a welcoming atmosphere where children build confidence and teamwork skills.
