Enrollment at The British School of Almeria
Families begin with a campus visit—either face-to-face or online if they’re overseas—which offers a genuine chance to experience the atmosphere rather than just tick a box. The British School of Almeria then requests two years of academic records and, where needed, sets up tests in English, mathematics, and key subjects. Teachers observe the trial day and submit their findings to admissions within two days, after which successful families get a written offer valid for 5-10 days.
English Language
English proficiency is especially important for older students, who get unconditional offers when they show strong skills in the language. Those still developing their English but maintaining solid academic performance across core subjects get conditional offers instead, which come with recommended language support programs to help them settle into the English-speaking environment and handle coursework confidently.
Senior Grades
Entry into Key Stage 4 demands careful attention to both language preparation and academic standing, with prospective students attending a trial day to demonstrate their readiness for the IGCSE program. Because The British School of Almeria belongs to the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS), diplomas receive full recognition from Spain’s Ministry of Education, letting graduates continue their studies at Spanish universities or anywhere else—the British curriculum works perfectly with Spanish school standards.
