Achievements

Global Educational Network

As part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), which unites 112 schools across 25 countries and serves approximately 110,000 students, the college operates within a broader educational community that shares a common philosophy: nurturing curious and confident minds. This connection provides students with an international framework that enriches the British curriculum, while parents are drawn not merely by the institutional affiliation but by the quality of teaching and genuine care they observe throughout their child’s journey from early years to graduation.

Academic Performance at The English College Dubai

Students consistently achieve outstanding results in GCSE and A-Level examinations, reflecting the high standards maintained here. At A-Level, 19% earn the top grade of A, with 49% reaching A-A, while GCSE performance is equally impressive: 11% secure the maximum grade of 9, and 43% achieve grades in the 9-7 range. These outcomes are supported by accreditations from leading educational bodies, including British School Overseas (BSO) status, membership in British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), and partnerships with AQA and Pearson Edexcel examination boards.

University Admissions

Graduates pursue their studies at prestigious universities worldwide. In the UK, they attend Cambridge, Imperial College London, the London School of Economics, and King’s College London. Beyond Britain, students continue their education at institutions including the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University of Amsterdam, Politecnico di Milano, University of Toronto, McMaster University, University of Illinois, University of Texas, University of Queensland, and NYU Abu Dhabi.

British Curriculum and Holistic Development

Following an enriched British curriculum that spans all stages from early years through to graduation, the college introduces English and Arabic from the start, adding French and Spanish in middle school to build linguistic competence and cultural understanding. Through the STEAM THRIVE program, students engage in real-world projects, competitions, and industry connections, while leadership opportunities as house captains, prefects, and student council members complement their involvement in sports, music, theatre, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.
