A Tiny Beginning

ACS Cobham International School began its journey in 1975.Imagine, it started as a small place with just a handful of students. The idea? Our goal is to provide high-quality education to the children of expatriates and other international families living in the UK.

In its early days, the school didn’t offer many programs. It mainly focused on primary and secondary education. But guess what? The school was like that tiny plant you see in your garden. It grew, and it grew fast.

The Game-Changer – 1986

Now, let’s fast forward a bit to 1986. That was a big year for ACS Cobham. Why? Because that’s when they started this thing called the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. Sounds fancy, right? Well, it was a game-changer. Suddenly, students here could get an education that the whole world would nod at and say, “Yep, that’s legit.”

Dive into the Pool – 2002

Jump to 2002, and you’ve got a new sports centre in the school. And get this – it had a 25-meter swimming pool. Imagine the splashes, the races, and the underwater fun! The school wasn’t just about books; they wanted us to be fit and have a good time too.

A Home Away from Home – 2017

Then, in 2017, the school got even cooler. They opened a second boarding house. Now, we had more spots for boarding – 200 to be exact. It was like having a sleepover every night with your friends. More friends, more stories, and a whole lot of memories.
