American Academy for Girls (AAG) is committed to offering a well-rounded and enriching extracurricular program for students from Year 1 to Year 12. This initiative aims to enhance school life and broaden student experiences and opportunities.
Diverse Extracurricular Activities
American Academy for Girls provides a wide range of extracurricular activities to cater to the varied interests of its students. These activities encourage students to move beyond the conventional classroom environment, connect with peers, and participate in pursuits that promote holistic learning, physical and emotional wellness, and personal development.
The activities on offer include Model United Nations (MUN), book club, football club, trampoline club, badminton club, robotics, drawing, cooking, swimming club, public speaking, student leadership, drama club, gymnastics, Arabic club, and educational trips. In addition, there are specialized clubs such as the Quran Club and the Teen Club. Some activities may require a small fee for materials.
The CHIPS Program at American Academy for Girls
Beyond the standard extracurricular offerings, the CHIPS program is a distinctive initiative available at AAG. CHIPS stands for Creativity, Happiness, Innovation, Pioneer Spirit, and Soulful Activity, aiming to impart essential life skills to students and spark their curiosity for new endeavors.
The CHIPS program is in line with the developmental goals of the UAE, which emphasize the creation of a happy and supportive environment in educational institutions to boost student well-being.
