Chaplaincy and Worship
Description
Role of Chaplaincy and Worship (As seen by students)
Chaplaincy and Worship play a crucial role in our lives here at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, offering chances for spiritual growth, self-reflection, and assistance. Our chaplaincy squad, consisting of a full-time Chaplain, an Assistant Chaplain, and several lay chaplains, is here to provide various services and pastoral care to both students and staff, irrespective of their faith or belief.
Worship at Cheltenham Ladies’ College
Worship at our College is all about being inclusive, warm, and respectful to all faiths and beliefs. Our Chapel hosts regular services, like Sunday morning gatherings, along with a mix of other events throughout the year, such as Carol and Easter services, and interfaith gatherings. And it’s not just about the traditional Christian services – we also have Buddhist meditation sessions right here in the Chapel.
Multi-Faith Prayer Room
Need a quiet spot for prayer, meditation, or reflection? We’ve got you covered with our multi-faith prayer room, open 24/7 for anyone in our College community, regardless of their faith.
Chaplaincy Team and Support Services
But it’s not just about the physical spaces; our Chaplaincy team is here to offer support and care, be it one-on-one, in groups, or by pointing you in the direction of external support services. Trained to help out, no matter your faith or beliefs, they’re here to lend an ear and create a safe space for you to chat about anything that’s on your mind.
