Beyond these prestigious institutions, offers came from G5 universities and other leading British schools, while some students ventured abroad—studying nutritional sciences in Hong Kong, business mathematics in Hamburg, or earning NCAA scholarships for sports science in North Carolina.

Career Guidance at Royal High School Bath
A dedicated careers advisor meets weekly with students in years 10-13, ensuring every girl in year 12 has at least one individual consultation as she navigates this crucial decision point. The journey begins earlier, though, with younger students exploring different professions through guest speakers and entrepreneurship days. By year 10, they complete Morrisby assessments, maintain reflection journals about their futures, and learn how to secure summer internships.
GDST Alumnae Network
Through GDST Life, students connect with over 100,000 graduates across virtually any professional field they might pursue. This network provides lifelong access to mentorship, career advice, and internship opportunities. Current students also use the Rungway app to ask alumnae about university experiences and career paths, while specialized programs offer targeted support—from Oxbridge on Track workshops to legal profession discussions, American university seminars, and LSE’s LEAD entrepreneurship course.
STEM and Medical Pathways
Half of 2023 graduates chose science and technology fields—a reflection of how single-sex education can challenge traditional gender assumptions. In 2024, medicine drew students to Exeter (two places), Oxford, and Hull York Medical School, while others pursued computer science at Sheffield and York, actuarial mathematics at LSE, or physics at Cardiff. This breadth spans fundamental sciences, computational technologies, and quantitative finance.
