Bilingual Education Traditions

Founded in Dublin in 1979, Yago School pioneered an approach that blends the Spanish curriculum with full English immersion, educating 15,000 graduates who still wear the “Y” logo with pride. Starting as a small Dublin community before expanding to Seville, it has remained faithful to its founding principles while building on six educational pillars: traditional values, music and arts, science and technology, languages, sports, and academics—each element reinforcing the others to prepare students for personal and professional success.

Apple Recognition

In 2025, Yago School earned Apple Distinguished School status through 2028, confirming its leadership in educational innovation. After rigorous multi-stage audits demonstrated that technology serves learning rather than existing for its own sake, students now work with iPad and MacBook devices while exploring robotics, electronics, 3D design, programming, and cybersecurity. The motto “Imagina, inspira, impacta” (“Imagine, inspire, impact”) reflects this philosophy, and recognition grants access to the global Apple Distinguished Schools community with its ambitious development opportunities.

IB Program at Yago School

Yago School offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, recognized both in Spain and internationally. Spanish universities grant IB graduates a baseline 10 points—equivalent to national baccalaureate—with up to 4 additional points through PCE exams or subject recognition, reaching the maximum 14. High-level IB language exams replace IELTS or TOEFL at international universities, while credit transfers can reduce degree completion time, making the diploma a strategic career advantage beyond mere qualification.

University Admissions Worldwide

Annually, over 5,000 universities across 100+ countries accept applications from IB diploma holders, including Ivy League institutions, MIT, Oxford, Sorbonne, and Humboldt University Berlin. Yago School graduates apply directly without preparatory courses typically required of foreign applicants.
