Yago School merges the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBO) with the Spanish Baccalaureate, creating pathways to top universities while earning WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) certification at all levels. As the sole holder of L.E.I.S. – Lego Education Innovation Studio – Robotix in Andalusia, Yago gives students early access to robotics and programming through scientific experimentation. Technology becomes second nature here, with each learner receiving an iPad and MacBook Air for daily use. The Microsoft School certification supports computer languages and IT education from the earliest grades, building skills for tomorrow’s professional landscape while nurturing scientific curiosity through hands-on projects.

Music and Athletics

Piano and music theory begin at Primary 1 (PYP 4), with the choir performing advanced repertoire at professional concerts. Older students join The Music Club and The Yago Band, rehearsing diverse compositions in a professional recording studio where they capture original work and earn ABRSM (Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music) certification. Physical education spans three hours weekly through middle school, complemented by competitions, ski trips, and early-years programs like BrainGym that strengthen the link between movement and cognitive development.

Finland’s KiVa anti-bullying initiative—among the world’s most effective—ensures difficulties get resolved promptly, while the House System builds team spirit and rewards effort.
