Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Business
The accelerated BA (Hons) Degree – Business format delivers a degree in under three years, which suits those seeking a quick career launch. 22-week academic modules alternate with paid internships, while the mandatory 12-month work experience bridges theory and practice. Throughout this journey, the career team at International Management Institute Switzerland supports students—from résumés to visa assistance for positions in the US, Europe, or the Middle East.
Learning Stages
The program unfolds in phases: students begin with a Diploma in Hospitality Management, where they grasp core concepts of management and hospitality. Next comes the first practical phase—a 22-week internship in a country of their choice. The High Diploma in Business Management then shifts focus toward advanced management strategies, while the BA (Hons) represents the culmination. Emphasis falls on cutting-edge business models, with a second 22-week internship providing over 12 months of real work experience.
Study Modules
The IMI curriculum builds gradually—from fundamental business skills to strategic thinking at an international level. Students start with academic skills and entrepreneurship basics, then explore consumer behavior and hospitality operations. The program deepens into talent management, financial performance analysis, and international trade. Final stages concentrate on digital marketing, cross-cultural management, and sustainable business development, while a 30-credit research project lets students apply knowledge to real challenges.
Internships at International Management Institute
12 months of paid internship distinguishes the business program at IMI. Students access positions in Switzerland and abroad through the school’s partner network, while the career team assists with paperwork, interview preparation, and cultural adaptation. The ability to work during internships helps students cover expenses and build an international portfolio, which becomes a significant advantage when entering the job market.
